Shopping for a Good Cause: When you shop at the Girl Guide Online Store, you are directly supporting Guiding across Canada. Your purchases help to ensure that our programs continue to meet the changing needs of girls and young women belonging to our organization.

How do I place an order online?

Begin by searching for the desired item(s). When you click on an item, you will be presented with an Item Detail page. From this page you can add the item to your shopping cart. Please note that you must Sign in before you are able to proceed to checkout.

Once all desired items have been added to your shopping cart, you can proceed to the checkout page by clicking the "Proceed to Checkout" button on the shopping cart page. You will be asked to provide your shipping and billing information on subsequent pages. As well, you will have the option of selecting from several shipping options. Please note that some of the shipping options may incur additional shipping costs. The final checkout screen, Order Review, will provide a summary of your information. After verifying that all order and shipping information are correct you are now ready to check out as below.

As a security feature, you will be automatically logged out after 60 minutes of inactivity in your shopping cart and on our website. If this occurs, you will need to re-enter the order. Please make sure you save your cart as below.

Out of stock items (items cannot be backordered).

If an item is currently out of stock you will not be able to order and pay for it. This out of stock item is not considered a back order and we cannot automatically send you the item once it becomes available. We invite you to click on the out of stock item, sign up for email notification and once you receive the notification, place your whole order at that time to avoid additional shipping charges. Please note that every order placed will have a shipping charge & we are unable to guarantee that all other items will be in stock at the time that the out of stock item becomes available.

Can I save my order before I exit and continue at a later time?

Yes you can save your shopping cart for 45 days. However, there is no guarantee that all saved items will be available when you continue shopping. When you log back in, you will be informed of any item and quantity removed from your cart due to insufficient stock.

What type of payment is accepted at the online store and how to check out?

Payments can be made by PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or Prepaid and reloadable cards. All payment transactions will be processed through PayPal website.

Select the “Check out with PayPal” button. At this point, you will be redirected to PayPal to complete your order. This may take a few seconds while PayPal responds. If you are paying with a Visa, MasterCard or Purchase Card, select the “Don’t have a PayPal account?” link and enter your credit card number, expiration date and 3-digit CSC which stands for the security code found on the back of the credit card. Telephone number is also required as contact information.

Your card will be processed and the order will be placed. If you are paying via PayPal, select the “Pay with my PayPal account” and enter your email and PayPal password. An order confirmation email will be sent once the order is complete. We do not retain your full credit card information, only the last 4 digits of the credit card and the expiry date are saved for 60 days by PayPal in order to facilitate refunds.

Is rush delivery available?

Rush delivery is not an option on the online store, however you may contact customer support to inquire about expedited delivery. Expedited delivery fees will be quoted on an order by order basis. You are responsible for all expedited delivery costs on top of regular shipping and handling charges already paid and will be required to provide a credit card number to customer service at the time of the call.

My child no longer wishes to be in Girl Guides - can I return the uniform?

If the uniform has not been worn, it may be returned within 45 days. Please see the Return/Exchange policy.

Will orders be accepted by Phone, mail or fax?

No, orders will not be accepted by phone, mail or fax. If you are having problems placing your order online please contact the Girl Guides Store customer support @ 1.877.605.9339. Our Customer Service Representatives are available to provide technical support and answer any questions you may have.

Will Guiders have to pay up front for badges and other merchandise for the unit?

Yes. All orders placed with the online store must be paid prior to processing.

Can I Cancel or Add to My Order?

Once you have received your order confirmation e mail, we are unable to cancel or add to your order.

How long does it take for orders to be processed?

Orders will be processed within 2 business days. Transit times vary depending on the shipping address.

Is telephone support available for people who don't have Internet access?

Yes, support is available. You can find all of our contact information on our Contact Us Page.

Will overseas buyers be able to purchase items?

Yes, overseas customers will be able to purchase merchandise from the online store.

Who can order badges, insignia, challenges and awards?

Badges, insignia, challenges and awards are available from the online store. Only Adult Members of Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada are able to access and order these items. Adult members, who need more information on GGC Awards and Insignia, click below. Member zone username and password are required.
